Charles Schwab

Full-featured integration supporting equities and options. Schwab's API provides comprehensive account data, positions, and order management.

Setup: Settings > Brokers > Schwab > Authorize via OAuth on Schwab's website.

Notes: Schwab acquired TD Ameritrade — if you previously had a TDA account, use Schwab credentials.

Tradier

A popular choice for active options traders. Tradier's API is fast and built specifically for options-heavy workflows.

Setup: Settings > Brokers > Tradier > Authorize via OAuth.

Notes: Tradier offers commission-free options trading on some plans, making it cost-effective for frequent trading.

TradeStation

Full trading API with an additional simulation (paper trading) environment. The Sim account is excellent for testing Roger bots without risking real money.

Setup: Settings > Brokers > TradeStation > Authorize via OAuth.

Paper trading: Also connect TradeStation Sim separately — it uses its own authorization flow and gives you a sandbox for testing.

tastytrade

Built by options traders for options traders. tastytrade's API supports the full options workflow including multi-leg orders.

Setup: Settings > Brokers > tastytrade > Authorize via OAuth.

Notes: tastytrade is a popular choice in the premium-selling community and pairs naturally with Tiblio's screener focus.

Alpaca

An API-first broker supporting stocks, options, and crypto. Good for traders who want programmatic access and modern tooling.

Setup: Settings > Brokers > Alpaca > Authorize via OAuth.

Notes: Alpaca also supports crypto trading, which can be logged in Tiblio's Trade Journal.

Token Management

How It Works

  • After authorization, Tiblio receives a secure access token from your broker
  • Tokens are encrypted at rest in the database
  • Tokens auto-refresh on approximately a 90-day cycle
  • You can disconnect any broker at any time from Settings > Brokers

Token Expiration

Occasionally, a broker token may expire or be revoked (e.g., if you change your broker password). If this happens:

  1. You'll see an error notification in Tiblio
  2. Go to Settings > Brokers
  3. Disconnect the broker
  4. Reconnect by going through the OAuth flow again

Security

  • Tiblio uses OAuth 2.0 — your broker password is never shared with or stored by Tiblio
  • Tokens only grant the permissions you approved during authorization
  • You can revoke access at any time from your broker's own settings
