Alerts
Get notified when your positions hit profit targets or loss thresholds via email or Telegram.
Alerts monitor your open positions and notify you when they hit your profit targets or loss thresholds. Instead of constantly checking prices, set your levels and let Tiblio watch for you.
Alert Types
- Profit alerts — Triggered when a position reaches your profit target (as a percentage of premium received)
- Loss alerts — Triggered when a position hits your maximum acceptable loss
- Broker error alerts — Notifies you if your broker connection encounters an issue (e.g., expired token)
Configurable Thresholds
You can set different alert thresholds for each trade type, since different strategies have different risk profiles:
| Trade Type | Default Profit Target | Default Loss Threshold |
|---|---|---|
| Short options | 50% of premium | 100% of premium |
| Long options | Customizable | Customizable |
| Spreads | Customizable | Customizable |
| Stocks | Customizable | Customizable |
To configure: go to Settings > Alerts and adjust the thresholds for each category.
Delivery Channels
Alerts are sent to your account email via Resend. No additional setup required.
Telegram
For faster notifications, connect your Telegram account:
- Open the Tiblio Telegram bot
- Send the
/startcommand to link your account - Alerts will be delivered as Telegram messages in addition to email
How Alerts Are Checked
Alerts run on two schedules:
| Schedule | When | Data Source |
|---|---|---|
| Daily check | 11:30 AM ET | End-of-day market data |
| Live check | Every 2 minutes (market hours) | Real-time broker quotes |
The daily check works for everyone. The live check requires a connected broker — it uses your broker's intraday quotes for near-real-time monitoring.
